You\u2019ll have to decide whether the grind is worth it, but there sure will be benefits to reap for those that do.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Undoubtedly, Nimrook is the best goalkeeper in the game by a fair margin. He doesn\u2019t become available until later in the game, though, so you may have to be a bit patient before recruiting him to the Besaid Aurochs.<\/p>\n

He starts out as the keeper for the Al Bhed Psyches, but should be snaffled up at the earliest possible opportunity to create the best blitzball team possible in FFX.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Ropp is a clerk with an unassuming ability as one of the best blitzball players in FFX. He is the strongest defender in the game, owing to his high AT, BL, and PA skills. The best thing is, he can be hired early in the game too.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Best employed as a midfielder, Brother is by far the best free agent Blitzball player you can find in the whole of Spira. Fortunately, he\u2019s easy to find, too. Brother is an Al Bhed pilot who is the cousin of Yuna, brother of Rikku, and son of Cid.\u00a0<\/p>\n

He has a very sparing role in FFX<\/em> and is limited to a couple of lines here and there, usually in Al Bhed dialogue. Brother has a more prominent role in FFX-2<\/em>.\u00a0<\/p>\n
