The Remnant From the Ashes world is a gloomy place<\/p>\n

The main story of Remnant: From the Ashes<\/em> should take between 15-20 hours<\/strong> to complete.\u00a0<\/p>\n

This can vary, though, depending on the player. If you are solely interested in getting through the main campaign of the game, then it will indeed take roughly 15 hours. However, if you\u2019re looking to explore the world fully, max out every trait (there are 32 in total), and obtain all the weapons and armor, then it will probably take closer to 45-50<\/strong> hours<\/strong> to complete.\u00a0<\/p>\n

To complete the main game plus all of the extras and downloadable content, it will roughly take 25-30 hours<\/strong> if you are going at an average pace.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Anecdotally, some players report spending over 100 hours in the game, but this really hinges on whether or not you enjoy the gameplay or not.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Remnant: From the Ashes<\/em> is much easier than most souls-like games, and there are also difficulty settings that you can adjust to increase\/decrease the challenge.\u00a0<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re in the mood for something that you really need to concentrate on in order to beat, you can do that easily with Remnant<\/em>. Likewise, if you\u2019re just in it for the story, just set the difficulty to easy and you\u2019re good to go.\u00a0<\/p>\n

All things considered, Remnant: From the Ashes<\/em> is not a particularly difficult game.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Some bosses require more thought than others<\/p>\n

Remnant: From the Ashes<\/em> is definitely worth playing if you have not yet done so. The game is particularly fun in co-op mode with some friends, but can just as well be played solo for a great gaming experience.\u00a0<\/p>\n

For those who like souls-like games, or games set in monster-ridden post-apocalyptic worlds, I strongly recommend that you give Remnant<\/em> a try. It\u2019s a game that took me by surprise by how much I enjoyed it, and it was definitely worth persisting with.\u00a0<\/p>\n

With that being said, it is worth mentioning that the game does not give the best first impression. One thing to keep in mind is that you may have to persevere through the first part of the gameplay before you get into it.<\/p>\n

At the start, you find yourself in a dreary, grey city that is not particularly stimulating and is, in all honesty, rather dull. As soon as you leave this area, though, things begin to get spicy fast.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The gameplay is Remant\u2019s<\/em> main asset, and the gunplay and combat is incredibly fun and rewarding. The story and lore of the game is a bit meh, but that doesn\u2019t detract from a thoroughly enjoyable souls-like gaming experience.\u00a0<\/p>\n
