It was only a matter of time before we got a decent Worms<\/em> game for mobile platforms, and Worms 3<\/em> seems to be the one to fit the bill. At least for now.\u00a0<\/p>\n Overseeing your squad of tiny invertebrates is made even easier with a touch screen interface, and with both a solid online multiplayer and single-player mode, Worms 3<\/em> takes the essence of the original games and adds its own print to the mix. There\u2019s no doubt that this is one of the best Worms<\/em> games yet, if only for the ease and accessibility of it.\u00a0<\/p>\n For many, Worms WMD<\/em> is the best Worms<\/em> game ever made, and it was certainly the most ambitious entry to the series that Team17 had produced in a long while.\u00a0<\/p>\n Released in 2016, Worms WMD utilized 2D graphics and provided a significant redesign of the aesthetics and character drawings. In fact, it was the first major overhaul of character design since Worms 3D<\/em>.\u00a0<\/p>\n That\u2019s not all that was new, though, and a number of new features were added to the long running franchise, including the use of vehicles and protective shelters for the worms.<\/p>\n If you haven\u2019t tried Worms WMD<\/em> yet, then you really should, it\u2019s definitely up there as one of the best Worms<\/em> games in the franchise.\u00a0<\/p>\n Worms Ultimate Mayhem Gameplay<\/p>\n Not everyone\u2019s favorite game in the franchise, but I love Ultimate Mayhem\u2019s<\/em> humor, and the amount of content that you get for one game is commendable, especially at the prices you can get nowadays.\u00a0<\/p>\n The 3D graphics, although not to everybody\u2019s taste, works well in Ultimate Mayhem<\/em> and makes some of the weapon animations cooler than ever before.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n One of the best features of Ultimate Mayhem<\/em> is the single player campaign mode. It is huge<\/em>, and engaging, too. In my opinion, it is the best story mode in the series, and for this alone makes Ultimate Mayhem<\/em> one of the best Worms<\/em> games around. There is also a multiplayer mode, but it is not so populated, and there are better options if this is your juice.\u00a0<\/p>\n As the game that started it all off, it\u2019s hard not to include the original near the top of the pile of best Worms<\/em> games. And in actuality, it thoroughly deserves to be there, too.\u00a0<\/p>\n Worms<\/em> was revolutionary in the world of turn-based strategy games, and it brought a light-hearted touch to artillery tactics.\u00a0<\/p>\n Everyone searching for the best Worms<\/em> game has probably played the original, so I don\u2019t think there;s much to add. Hearing the worms shout \u201chadouken!\u201d, \u201cyou\u2019ll regret that\u201d, and \u201coh dear\u201d, will eternally live in the memories of many gamers.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n We have creator Andy Davidson<\/em> to thank for this masterpiece, along with Team17 for having the foresight to know a gem when they saw one.\u00a0<\/p>\n Hands down, the best Worms<\/em> game in the entire series is Armageddon<\/em>. Staying true to the original with 2D graphics, unrivalled humor, and charm in abundance, Worms Armageddon<\/em> is everyone\u2019s favorite for a reason.\u00a0<\/p>\n With over 50 unique weapons, a long single-player campaign, and an online multiplayer mode that is still vibrant today, WA<\/em> gets everything right. The fact that the game is fully moddable adds endless life to the game, too, and I can\u2019t see it going anywhere for a long time.\u00a0<\/p>\n If you\u2019re trying to convince a friend to get into the Worms<\/em> franchise, go with Armageddon<\/em>.
